With F3 you can view into files. If WinNc does not recognize a filetype, you can use the standard HEX viewer similar to the one in Norton Commander. You can also connect a filetype to an external viewer by pressing SHIFT-F3. Pressing F3 when a directory is active will calculate the directory size.
